Kit

Please do not wear any club or school kit

Shropshire County kit will be available to purchase to wear for training as well as matches from the approved supplier

Please email me for a shirt number this will be yours for the duration that you are in the program

Players must ensure they have normal training kit that includes a waterproof top.

Players must have warm clothing that can be worn during lunch breaks and after sessions/matches.

Shin pads and gum shields must be worn by all players.

Big Gloves and boxes are recommended for penalty corner defenders

Food & Drink

All players will need to bring a packed lunch as, hydration and snack breaks are planned throughout training days. Players must ensure they have access to fluid during training sessions. It is recommended that players have two glucose based drinks along with a water bottle that can be refilled during breaks.

Arriving and Departing

Players must ensure they arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes before the sessions starting, so they can be registered with your age group managers.  When sessions finish players will warm down and then be available for collection from pitch side.

Arrival at Shrewsbury School

Please access both pitches via the Porthill road entrance i.e. near the cricket school; we will have the use of 1 changing room in the in the building by the pitch in case of really bad weather. Please park by the Astro near the cricket school   Do not walk on the grass

Fees

• Player selected for an AC squad after assessment should pay
• This must be made online at the time of  registering/updating, no cash or cheques
• Payment is outside the England hockey online system and is a BACs payment  via your personal bank account

Should any player need financial support please discuss this with Jules O`Neill (girls) or John Beckett (boys). No one should be excluded on financial grounds.
